Vectorworks Wins Editor's Choice Award!
Last Thursday evening the UK Vectorworks Team attended the Construction Computing Awards.
After a ceremony on tender hooks most of the night, I'm delighted to announce that Vectorworks won the Editor's Choice award, one of the most prestigious awards of the evening.
In the words of David Chadwick, Editor of CADUser and Construction Computing, David announced:
"With BIM threatening to create a two-tier industry --those that BIM, and those that don't -- Vectorworks Architect has enabled architects and designers to bridge the gap by not only providing a total design solution for larger public projects, where BIM is a necessity, but also by providing the same tools to smaller practices engaged on local and domestic projects where they can see, and reap, the benefits of using BIM. I was happy, therefore, to present the Editors Choice award to Computers Unlimited, the distributors of Vectorworks, for their unstinting effort in promoting the application as a natural vehicle for the BIM workflow."!
Congratulations also go to a couple of Vectorworks users who were runners up for the Best BIM project for 2014 and Best Use of Visualisation 2014:
